The CMHO accreditation program is a comprehensive quality-management system specifically designed for children's mental health service providers.
Accreditation is a process that involves setting standards of excellence and subsequently evaluating the success of an organization by verifying that the standards have been achieved. Accreditation formally acknowledges a centre's achievement of the standards at a given point in time, but the process is also dynamic, ongoing, and encourages organizations to strive for continuous improvement and learning. The CMHO accreditation program is independent of government and is organized and administered by children's mental health professionals and board members. It operates directly under the auspices of Children's Mental Health Ontario.
All programs and services at Pathways fall under the accreditation process.
