The majority of Pathways' services are offered at our Community Site locations. These services include assessment and consultation, counselling (individual, family, and group), and parenting programs. Prior to your first visit, your community site counsellor will receive the assessment completed by the intake counsellor so you won't have to tell your story again. On your first visit, you and your child will meet with your community site counsellor. The counsellor will listen to each of you, and together you will develop a plan for service based on individual needs. Together, the counsellor, client, and family will decide where and when these services will be provided.
Community Site counsellors offer either brief or extended counselling options, based on individual needs. Counsellors who offer extended counselling also act as case managers and can refer you to other Pathways programs as deemed necessary. Counsellors can also refer clients to a range of more intensive services.
There are seven community sites throughout the region: Kingston (two sites), Amherstview, Napanee, Sydenham, Sharbot Lake, and Northbrook. Please follow the link for our Contact information.
